When you’re purchasing a home, it’s important to engage the services of a surveyor to carry out all the necessary checks on the property and to provide an independent report on its condition.

RICS Home Survey Level 2 

The RICS Home Survey Level 2 (also known as a Homebuyer Report) is the best survey to have on a standard property. It provides an internal and external check of the property and includes a loft inspection. 

My report will provide you with a better understanding of the condition of the property you’re looking to purchase. It will give you peace of mind and will contain my opinion of the property and recommendations, together with photographs of any issues raised.

RICS Home Survey Level 3 

If you’re purchasing an older property, the RICS Home Survey Level 3 (also known as the Building Survey) is the best option to consider. It is based on the RICS Level 2 as stated above, but provides more detailed information on the condition of the property, together with likely repair costs and recommendations.

I am a RICS Registered Valuer and undertake ‘Red Book’ valuations for ‘Help to Buy’, ‘Shared Ownership’, Grant of Probate/IHT and Matrimonial, as well as an independent property valuation for private purchasers.
